Iran has two submarine cable landing points. The cities of Chabahar and Soroosh Platform are key locations for international connectivity. Notable cables include the FALCON RFS (2006), Gulf Bridge International Cable System/Middle East North Africa Cable System (GBICS/MENA) RFS (2012), OMRAN/EPEG RFS (2013), and Pishgaman Oman Iran (POI) Network RFS (2012). These connections facilitate communication between the Persian Gulf region and beyond, playing an important role in the Indo-Pacific area.
