GEOCABLE Systems offers the SEISCON line of marine geophysical connectors including the "Reed Products" RM and SU range. Single connectors and customized assemblies are available from stock or on short lead-times to suit the variable demand cycle of the marine exploration industry. Applications for these connectors range from source to sensor with versions available to suit all popular air and water guns, transition zone and OBC systems.
Seiscon connectors are injection molded directly onto purpose built Polyurethane jacketed cable. This process produces an intimate fusion bond that results in an extremely rugged and durable cable assembly suitable for harsh environments with high pressure shock loading. High strength beryllium copper contacts, bodies and locking sleeves of 316 stainless steel, serve to further increase service life.
A choice of purpose built cables incorporating high strength conductors such as cadmium copper and copper clad steel compliment these field proven connectors.
